
Sandy Goche
Sandy Goche is an owner operator and team driver of a Freightliner 2016 Cascadia along with Stephen Halsted. They are currently leased to Landstar Express America. Sandy has been on the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) Pro Talks Educational Series panel discussions with other members of the Trucking Solutions Group discussing current issues and lessons learned in trucking. Sandy is part of the membership committee for Woman In Trucking Association (WIT). She has participated on panels discussing women’s safety issues on the road for WIT at the On Time Media Expedite Expo (EE). Sandy has also lead question-and-answer sessions for successful straight truck ownership with Stephen at the EE. She was also named Member of the Month for February 2018 by WIT. Sandy is a member of Team Run Smart and a life member of WIT and Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA). Sandy is also life member of the All Frets, North American Fishing Club (NAFC), and National Rifle Association (NRA). Sandy is Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) trained. Sandy has trained students using their truck for a truck safety portion at Clearcreek Township Police Department Safety Town.
Prior to her second career in trucking, Sandy was a computer systems administrator for computer systems for the Department of Defense (DoD). Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science Interdisciplinary with Mathematics from Mankato State University (Minnesota State University, Mankato). She is also CompTIA Security+ certified.
When Sandy is not on the road; she can be found organizing her mechanical pencils, ball point pens, roller ball pens, and fountain pens; target shooting; smallmouth bass fishing on Lake Erie; or practicing her tenor banjos, tenor guitars, and tenor mandolas.
