Rod & Kim Sekich
Rod and Kim Sekich are owner operators with their own authority based out of north east Colorado. Although Kim doesn’t drive, she is involved with everything else that is needed to keep a trucking company successful.
Rod started out in trucking small and has grown ever since. He began when he was 16 years old by helping his uncle move John Deere equipment. He officially started driving professionally in 1984. He established his own authority in 1997. When he isn’t watching his grandchildren compete in motocross or sports, you can find him pulling his reefer trailer hauling live plants out of Colorado.
He owns a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia and a 1988 Peterbilt with a B model Caterpillar. Besides the reefer trailer he also occasionally pulls his low boy, flat bed and belly dump. He is planning to modify his Pete to accept a fifth wheel or convert to a dump bed. He is a member of OOIDA and NASTC.
