Chairman: Henry Albert

​Henry has been involved in the trucking industry since 1983.  He is the owner of Albert Transport in Mooresville, NC and operates under his own authority.  Henry is involved with Trucker Buddy and is currently on the board of directors.  Henry was recognized as the Overdrive Magazine Trucker of the year in 2007.  He is also a member of Freightliner's Team Run Smart as one of the Pro's where he writes a weekly blog.  He was asked to dispaly his Freightliner Cascadia at the "Clean Air Symposium" in Washington, D.C.  
Henry has been a featured speaker at many organizations and speaks to large fleets about getting the most out of your automated transmission and engine.
Henry was honored by being selected by Travel Centers of America as a recipient of their inaugural TA/Petro Citizen Driver Award program in 2014.  The award is given out annually to drivers for their contributions not only to the trucking industry and their community, but also for their safe driving, leadership and professionalism.  The Laredo TA has been renamed the Henry Albert Travel Center of America.  
When he's not driving he enjoys spending time with his family, riding his ATV and his dirt bike.
